My name is Sonia I am currently a mechanical engineer working full time. I graduated college in 2013 and ever since that moment my life has been full of ups and downs. Lots of lessons learned, lots of confusion and heart break. I decided that I wanted to take a break from school and work after college and move to Taiwan.
The idea behind this trip was to have a gap year, travel and have fun and after it was over I would know exactly what I wanted to become. Turns out figuring out what you truly want is not as easy, at least for me. After coming back penniless and with no job experience other than a few internships and English teaching jobs, I was more lost than ever. So I started the job hunt thinking this was what I wanted. 4 months later I found my very first grownup job.
Fast forward 2 years and today I am starting my first blog, still as confused as when I first graduated college but full of new lessons and experiences eager to find my true passions. I hope to find the healthy balance between travel, relationships and career growth.
